Two weekends ago, I attended my 4th and final CEDIA Expo to see all of the great new home theater gear. I love going because all of the latest gear is there and experts, and even the designers themselves, are often there to display the equipment. This project just keeps going on and the blog was pretty boring, so I stopped updating the work log. In other news, I tried to log on to the Sveasoft forum and noticted that my username was suspended. Maybe it’s because I’m not a paying subscriber or maybe it’s because I made one post about them here. Not sure, but it’s weird that I can’t get into the non-subscriber section. New years eve. Klye started the finished coats for the drywall while I frantically tried to get my computer working to play music for our new years eve party that night. He worked alone. We took a trip to Home Depot to get can lights for the room and wood for the front platform. I figured out how to sandwich the tactile transducers between the top of the platform and a carrier piece. This turned out to be more complicated than I expected. I ran wires for the front 3 speakers. It was no fun fishing it behind the front wall and into the utility room before putting it through the ceiling to the back of the room.
