This was my second DMB show in as many nights. Nicole, Chris Harlow, and I attended a pre-show party at the house of one of Nicoles co-workers. Concert time approached, so Chris and I left the party, got cash, and walked through the gates just as DMB start to play. Nicole rode over with her co-workers in a hearse with a giant plastic chicken strapped to the top.

Chris Harlow and I sat right in the center about 20 rows back; everyone else was in the lawn. There was a taper beside me but I don’t know what he was; I should have asked to see if I could get a recording of the show from him.

This was the shortest DMB concert I can remember. I was a little disappointed, especially after the excellent performance from the previous night. It seemed like a short, album version of pretty much every song. The surprise of the show was Dan Mayers on sax; he and LeRoi Moore were great together.
