I’ve wanted a combo Palm / cell phone for the past 4 years. The first ones from Handspring and Kyoceria were way to big. I really liked the Treo 600 but decided I’d hold out for Bluetooth. The Treo 650 came out for Sprint late in 2004 but no release in sight for Verizon. I finally broke down, bought one on Ebay, and converted it to Verizon. This project just keeps going on and the blog was pretty boring, so I stopped updating the work log. In other news, I tried to log on to the Sveasoft forum and noticted that my username was suspended. Maybe it’s because I’m not a paying subscriber or maybe it’s because I made one post about them here. Not sure, but it’s weird that I can’t get into the non-subscriber section. New years eve. Klye started the finished coats for the drywall while I frantically tried to get my computer working to play music for our new years eve party that night. He worked alone. We took a trip to Home Depot to get can lights for the room and wood for the front platform. I figured out how to sandwich the tactile transducers between the top of the platform and a carrier piece. This turned out to be more complicated than I expected. I ran wires for the front 3 speakers. It was no fun fishing it behind the front wall and into the utility room before putting it through the ceiling to the back of the room.
